Adult and child – from 4 months
Bond with your little one in the water and enjoy fun songs and games to help them learn. Parents or carers join the children in the water for swimming lessons. This gives reassurance for the child and confidence to the parent or carer in assisting their child in the water.
Duckling Awards – pre-school
Aimed at children from three years old who can follow instructions and move on their own.
The child will build independence and confidence in water will grow. Our Duckling Awards slowly prepare the child for our Swim England Learn to Swim Framework Stages 1-7.
Southwark Splash Swim School – juniors
Juniors aged 5+ can embark upon our Southwark Splash Swim School programme which follows the Swim England Learn To Swim Framework. It is made up of the seven stages of learning to swim, which develop confident and able swimmers using fun and enjoyment to engage learners.
Be Water Confident – adults
Gain the confidence to enter the pool safely. Learn basic core aquatic skills and develop the ability to move around the pool with confidence. Learn entries, exits, buoyancy, balance and aquatic breathing.
Be a Better Swimmer – adults
You’ll need to be able to swim up to 400 metres independently to start this award. You’ll also have the confidence to try other pool activities, such as aquacise or lane swimming. At this stage, we recommend you build your stamina even more, with our Adult Distance Awards – 50 metres, 100 metres and 200 metres.
