Concession memberships
Discounted concession memberships are available for those who are either; aged 60 or over, 16 – 19, student in full time education, employed by the emergency services (NHS, police force or fire department), Armed forces, Southwark Council staff or in receipt of Universal Credit or full time Carers Allowance.
Proof of concession will be required on your first visit.

Les Mills Online Classes
For just £4.99 per month, you can gain access to all your favourite Les Mills classes via our app so you can workout at home or on the move. It’s great for days where you’re struggling for time and can’t get to the studio. With our on-demand classes, there’s no excuse to miss a class! Simply add On-Demand fitness when you sign up online.
Pay As You Go
If you’re not ready to embark on a membership with us or don’t use our centres on a regular basis then “pay as you go” access may be better for you. Anyone can use our centres on a casual basis, All you need to do is register for FREE on our Pay as you go membership option. This will enable you to start booking classes & activities online or via the Southwark Leisure app.
Southwark free swim and gym
Southwark residents can use swimming and gym facilities, free of charge, in all of the council leisure centres at certain times as part of our free swim and gym scheme. We’re committed to investing in the health and wellbeing of all residents and want to make it easier for people to enjoy healthier and active lifestyles.
When is the offer available?
- Friday: 6am to 10pm (subject to programmes and timetables)
- Saturday: 2pm to 5.30pm (subject to programmes and timetables)
- Sunday: 2pm to 9pm (subject to programmes and timetables)
- Over-60s can take part in any Silver sessions free.
- Disabled residents can use all leisure centres, free of charge, seven days a week.
- Please check eligibility and proof of ID requirements.

You can sign up online by selecting your preferred centre and clicking on ‘Free Swim & Gym’.
If you are:
Registering for the first time, you will be required to take proof of ID and address to your local centre to collect your membership card. You can do this from the following day after registration. Please check eligibility and proof of ID requirements.
Renewing your registration, you will be required to provide proof of ID once per year at the time of your annual renewal.
You can also manage your new Southwark Leisure account online via the login at the top of this page. A confirmation email will be sent to you which will include ‘How to get your Pin’.
Terms and conditions
All residents who want to use the gym will need to complete an induction before they can do so. Doing your gym induction online is a quick and easy option, if you prefer to visit a centre in person for your induction, you can book onto the next available session at your local centre but please be aware that availability will be limited.
