Five Week Water Safety & Orientation course

Southwark Leisure has joined forces with the Black Swimming Association (BSA) to deliver free water safety courses for people in the black community. There are 16 spaces available for Southwark residents.

The BSA aims to encourage more people in African, Caribbean, and Asian communities to engage in swimming and water safety education. The course provides vital water safety knowledge that can potentially keep you and others safe in and around the water. We support and encourage you to find your personal connection with water, taking you on your own individual journey with swimming. This will open up a world of opportunities to engage and enjoy being in and around the water.
