Newly renovated with athletics track
Very nice gym, loads of high quality equipment and they have the best treadmill I have ever used. Every time I run on it I feel a personal connection and it keeps me coming back. Treadmills have a very smooth ride and would definitely recommend everyone who runs on the roads to avoid injury and instead use the premium treadmill here. Some days I feel lazy and I don’t want to do some training but every time I feel demotivated or want to cut the workout short, I am confronted by the wonderful and amazing staff who will motivate me, one of the staff members called Rio is an exceptional personal trainer who has helped me out and taught me how to correctly use the machines, another key staff member that I would like to mention is a tall blonde bloke called Finn who always tells me to stop slacking and constantly reminds me of my goals, the motivation I receive is akin to a personal coach so I would recommend coming here if you have goals to achieve. Finn in particular has also helped me understand the dangers of training in carbon plated running, on my first day I came to do a weights session in alphafly shoes and felt loads of pain, for this I am forever grateful, because it has helped me avoid injury. I definitely recommend this gym, it is very clean and the track facilities are a good bonus. I heard there is supposed to be a renovation, hopefully the treadmills currently here still remain otherwise I will have to unfortunately give a new updated review.
I was hoping to find a track where I could get some final sessions in before heading on to the Masters Championships in Gothenburg. This is ideal. It’s free, nice staff and open every day for extended hours.
Badly maintained by the council. We have been told that the shutters will be fixed for months and they are still down and broken.

Such a pity that the roller blinds have been broken for so long, blocking out the natural sunlight. When will they be fixed?
